Its great that the new rules have
1 More infantry types
2 Fixed formations built into lists and command rules.

This got me thinking about supprt weapons.

If you take a French infantry battalion for 1940 you have a number of options including conscript and colonial.

If you field of each type of battalion each with say 3MG's, a mortar and a 25mm ATG in support should these units have same morale benefits/disadvantages.

If not in the colnial battalion the support weapons fall back quicker than the infantry and stubbornly stay longer than the infantry in the conscript battalions.

If yes then there should plus or minus to the base cost (+/- 10pts?)

Would welcome others thughts
Thanks

That's a fair point, Jim and one that originally held me back from including troop quality in BKC - if you add troop quality to some units and not others, it can cause problems. It was meant to be taken care of in the command values and if you wanted different quality troops on the table at the same time on one side, you'd field two separate battlegroups.

Use +/- 5 for the points cost as this is how much it costs for conscript/veretan.
