Now forgive me if this seems elementary or is actually covered in the book but i couldn't find it.

There are no basing conventions in BKC are there?

So it dosen't matter how many guys i mount on one base, they would still count as one infantry unit (due to only being one base right)?

Is this the same with Tanks and Vehicles, 1 Tank or Vehicle is refered to as a unit?

Am i correct?

yes thats right, most people put 4-5 infantry on a base.
and 1 tank on a base is a unit.

i think in BKC1 there was something about baseing but not seen the book for a long time i cant rember now.

There were recommendations in BKC-1. It is a good idea to line up with your opponents, of course.

if there were I wouldn't worry unduly about it - but BKC doesn;t use the number of items on a base to distinguix=sh elements from each other...

some players I know do use the number of figures to help them tell specific unit types apart - i.e. engineers from regular infantry, especially when the figure scales start to shrink..

btw, how did your quest for opponents in Doncaster turn out??
