I'm reading the updated assault rules in the downloading section, and read "IFV". i'm assuming that stands for "infantry fighting vehicle", or a half track?

And if that's the case, and empty halftrack only gets only 3 attack dice, whereas a filled halftrack gets 6, AND if crew dismount as they assault, can the IFV support them? Although now that I think about it, this is a bad idea since they get 4+1 = only 5. Do I have this reasoning correct?

Sorry for all my questions. Coming off FOW, which I like, but their assault rules are pretty confusing.

Ah, well that makes sense, so I suppose the idea is that half track mounted infantry can NEVER mount as assault and must dismount to do it. And they leave their HTs behind them to support their assault?
