Posted on 14 October 2009 at 04:18:08 GMT Last night my friend, Matt, and myself played the scenario 'Exploitation'. He had 1000pts of British North West Europe 1944 and I had 500pts of Germans. The scenario played well and it was a tough battle. However, we weren't too clear on the victory conditions, it states in the scenario that if he occupies the centre of the board then he wins a minor victory, if I deny him the last third of the table I gain a minor victory, if he gains the last third of the table he gains a major victory Q1: If he gains the centre of the board does the game finish there, as he has gained the objective? Q2: If we both achieve the minor victory conditions, whose victory takes precedence? Q3: Does the game run the full 8 turns (or until someone breaks)and we ignore the rule that when an objective is attained the game finishes. We chose the last option and Matt gained a major victory with me breaking on the last turn (breakpoint 4!) Thanks in anticipation of your replies. |
