Hi,

having played our first game of BKC today, some questions came up:

1. May a FAO issue orders to other units than artillery? We think it may not, but we were not able to find the corresponding rule.

2. The rules state that built-up areas are not impassable for troops on foot. Does that mean that infantry may move through buildings without any penalty?

3. Firing at towed guns: The gun is hit when unlimbered, otherwise the transport is hit. Does this apply to artillery fire as well? Or does artillery always catch both units when in range?

4. Command Blunder: The blunder die shows 4: pull back! What if a unit has to pull back into impassable terrain? Is pull back treated like fall back and the unit is destroyed?

More questions from our second newbie game:

1. May a CO/HQ move through BUAs like Infantry?

2. Does CO/HQ block LOS?

3. May friendly units move through CO/HQ?

4. When a ATG is limbered, the transport takes all hits. What if the transport gets destroyed? Is the ATG destroyed as well? Or is it deployed automatically? In that case, may it pivot?

If I've got this right, its Yes, Yes, Yes and...

Q4 is the gun destroyed as well? YES! - that transport unit was carrying all the crew and all the ammo!

I use the rule for LOS from CWC and about Q2 Command, recce,troop on foot and deployed guns don't block LOS

CO/HQ do NOT block line of sight - page 5 of rulebook. But you can't shoot through them unless you're a tank - page 17 2nd paragraph.
