Dear Uncle Pete (or anyone else who has an opinion)

In BKC the T28 comes in 2 flavours; vanilla and up-armoured.

Both are tagged as equipped with a Howitzer.

Is the Howitzer tag based on the KT28 equipped version, with its MV of 380 m/s and, if so, should it be waived for the L10 equipped version, with its MV of 555 (same MV as the 45mm ATG)

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already...

Mark you maybe right, just thought I'd ask the question...

The two guns use the same AP shell, the KT28 has nearly twice the rate of fire (10-12 vs 6-7 per minute with the L10), with 2/3 the MV (op cit) and achieves 3/4 the penetration (30mm vs 40mm).

And... returning to the original point - it's the (h) designation I'm querying, not the attack/ range stats..

IF the (h) is due to the low muzzle velocity of the KT28, is the increase on the L10 sufficient to remove it for those equipped with it - it was retrofitted to half or more of the T28 fleet.

The KT28 has a similar MV to the 7.5cm StuK L24 fitted to the PzIV (short)/ StuG III (short) and shares the (h) designation, whereas the L10 is similar to the MV of the US M2 75mm fitted to the M3 Lee/Grant - which does NOT have the (h) designation...
