At the beginning of a player turn any formation on the active side that arrived at 50% casualties in the enemy turn must roll for morale -- a normal command roll. If failed all remaining units are removed. Pass and the Formation continues to fight. With additional losses the Formation must again take a morale test but applies a -1 for each additional loss over 50%. As I said, we have been using this approach for years and it makes a huge difference to our games. In fact without this we would be unlikely to get close to finishing any of our games in the 2-3 hours of actual play time we have. Cheers, Chris |
