Hi all,

I'm looking for suppliers of "SF-flavoured" decals for 6mm vehicles - any recommendations?

These are intended for a force of the old Starforce 300 minis which are big, more like 10mm (lead was cheaper in those days).

I am looking for something fairly basic & generic, think Traveller Imperial Sunburst, rather than the super-complex & funky artworks for Battletech that Fighting Pirannha do.

Cheers!

I would suggest looking at some of the 10mm and maybe 15mm ancient and medieval transfers from Veni Vidi Vici or Little Big Man Studios. The Macedonian star pattern might do or possibly even some of the late Imperial Roman patterns. The only caveat is that they might be a bit large for what you want.

I was going to suggest a good trawl of Fighting Pirahna but I guess not! They do have some more restrained graphics if you hunt through...

15mm British divisional symbols may help.

There's an evilBay seller called "My Model and Toy Store", mel-1017 is the user name. Sells sci fi decals listed as FASA for SFB, BSG, etc. They look pretty good and I am often tempted, but haven't yet given in. The store is in Canada, so should be good for you Pete. Whilst the decals are listed as for ships, I can see them easily being applied to other types of models as well, such as 6mm vehicles. Incidentally, he also does a range of cool looking resin sci fi ship models.

Thanks guys, I will check out your suggestions.

Maybe I will have another, more thorough trawl through Fighting Pirannha - to be honest I feel a bit spoilt for choice there Smile
