Posted on 03 March 2014 at 13:10:56 GMT Thanks Pete, I do need to go back and tidy up the bases on the 'Humanoids'. I think I will also apply a few more coats of gloss to the orange 'glass'. |

Posted on 03 March 2014 at 23:23:35 GMT It's actually their Ghast - http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/ghas... And as you can see, the engines were relocated, the wings were used to create tailplanes and so on. Larger pic is here: http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.m... |

Posted on 04 March 2014 at 04:40:26 GMT Entirely accidental - but quite effective use of colour theory! I just picked colours I thought would work well, and I just can't resist going and doing more and more to my 'aliens' - tidied up the bases, adding a black green wash around the 'rocks' and then adding layer after layer of gloss varnish to the cockpits/eyes/canopies. I wish I could find a source for miniature crystals - maybe I should grow some. |

I will be doing a 3mm marine battlegroup similar to yours, soon, so it is nice to see your take on this. However, what are you using for walkers there? Unless I mistake my guess, they look like Battletech click warrior power armor. Are they? |
