Posted on 11 August 2012 at 22:30:20 GMT http://theminiaturespage.com/news/?id=599276640 makes 99% of the opposition stand up and take note... AWESOME. Shame they're the wrong side of the pond and there doesn't seem to be a UK distributor |

Posted on 12 August 2012 at 08:07:17 GMT Wow - Khurusan have some incredible ranges in 15mm and 6mm - no doubt many of the 15mm can be used with 10mm sci-fi and fantasy. If I was a trader I would be trying to get a UK distribution deal. |

Posted on 12 August 2012 at 13:40:18 GMT Khurusan make some lovely stuff, I bought some of their 'space demons' a few months back. Postage the UK is fairly reasonable, though it's obviously worth ordering in bulk. Took about 10 days to reach me in the UK which was far quicker than I was expecting. |

Posted on 12 August 2012 at 20:42:03 GMT I believe Royal Mail's "£18 rip off" is the compulsory charge made by HM's Customs and Excise and RM are forced by law to collect it before they hand over the goods. You could complain to your MP....... |

Posted on 13 August 2012 at 07:49:22 GMT No not quite. It used to be about 1 in 10 packs were held for VAT, when £8 or more was due.....then Govt allowed Royal Mail to charge...£10 per pack added regaurdless of value. Suddenly all packs were grabbed..... IanS |

Posted on 13 August 2012 at 14:28:03 GMT There used to be a charge threshold for imports, only goods valued at £15 or more were liable, so split your order into small units so that you don't have to pay. That loophole has probably been closed by now though. |

Posted on 14 August 2012 at 16:50:04 GMT The only time I've ever been caught on import duty is if the postie couldn't deliver it to me from a regional distribution centre. It seems when it goes back, they add on the duty charges and handling. If it comes through my local sorting office - no problem. |
