I wanted to make my 6mm sci-fi vehicles a little special.
So after a bit of thinking I decided to add some aerials and some stowage.

The aerials are paint brush bristles and the stowage is made by Armstrong MIniatures which is now available from Heroics and Ros ( http://www.heroicsandros.co.uk )

You get tons of various bits of stuff to adorn your vehicles with and I had to make myself stop at 5 pieces.

Here is RJ1, the APC of Alpha Squad of the Earth Corps Marines.
It is the campaign look.

If you have not already added aerial and stowage to your 6mm vehicles, hopefully this will convince you it is worth it.

You swine! I've almost finished mine and now I might have to order some of these bits!

Look good though.

Always used paper to do it.

Staples for stowage racks.

Thoses vehocles far too plain, - see pics of WWII stuff for an idea of how cluttered it got, literally there is a tank there somewhere. Coffee and tea pots, canvas, packs, track links, spare wheels etc.

"the future is a clutterless society "

That's no good, we will be wiped out.

Do an image search - in action vehiles often dissaper under the kit(cr*p) that crews want to carry, large mound on the rear deck, means that you nice stuff is "unstowed".

Any idea how to make a 6mm golfing umberella ?

Get a drawing pin and put some cotton on it to make the spines then cover in tin foil?

Bit big ?

Reason for asking - UK tank crew used (and probably still do) them to stay dry in Germany on exercise.
