We played FWC the other day and I have written up the report on my blog:

Suffice to say that it was a game of three halves and the good guys won in the end, but only just. You could tell they were the good guys because they took a kicking at the start.

We hope to get the rules right next time we play.

Looks like you had a great game

I enjoyed the names of your competing factions and leaders.

When I play FWC, my two sides are generally the household troops of Baron Sacha Möder-Fokker and an alliance between the Arcadian Socialist Soviets and the Human Liberation Syndicate.

So we generally have the Möder-Fokkers versus the ASS/HLS.

Naming your troops is very important. They always fight better if you have named them, and better still if you have given them a history too.

I always name mine - although usually after they've *failed* to do what I require of them...as in, "You stupid fecker" etc

You should name them first, Nik. That way they might do what you tell them, not that that helped me in our game.

Ah, you think calling them "You stupid fecker" before the game might be motivational? Like it - that might just work y'know...

You could always try shooting one as 'incentive' for the others....
