Dug in.

A) Can scouts attempt to spot dug in units in recon range (0-60cm) as per concealed units?

or

B) Must they too be within 10cm as per other units?

Answer B) seems to make them as if effectively an ambush asset that must deploy.

Blast Wall.

Blast walls are stated as blocking LOS and yet it also states units fire at that are right up behind the wall get a save.

Does this mean that

A) Units unit right up behind the wall are out of LOS (ie considered concealed) until spotted in the usual fashion?

B) Units right behind the wall may be spotted (as they are just taking cover) but units further than the wall are out of LOS?

This one created a couple of issues as the defender purchased blast walls and then clarified all troops behinds them as dug-in too as they were defenders. The question then arose as to if recce could still attempt to spot them from over 10cm away and if they could then who could actually fire at them...

Dug-in
Do you mean units dug in on the surface, or in dug-outs (underground)? If the former, then yes you can - that's the point of recce! If the latter, not sure.....

Blast Wall
They're just a linear obstacle with a save value. So, no LOS over it as per normal. Units adjacent to it can be seen (assuming the observer is in a position to do so), recce'd shot at, etc.

Yes, dug-in on the surface, as in fox holes and using brush etc... to disguise positions.

Dug-out as you say are large underground bunkers that occupants can neither see out of not be seen.

Blast Wall, I agree, effectivley just a wall that gives a decent saving throw. Much like most rules hedges and walls etc... block LOS for those away from the linear terrain whist those at the feature can be seen but get a cover value.
