Hi guys, ahs neat game last night - Space marines Vs tyranids(using Bug Colony) rules for nids.

Some questions came up so thought i'd clarify online.

Nids have Swarm & advanced tech, ok so far.

1 - For advanced tech they have a Command Radius of 25cm, but what does the 40cm rule mean in the swarm (-1 Com penelty for farthest unit in formation),and how do we apply that within the 25cm rule boundaries?

When creating your own units teleport is available to select, but with existing rules page 55 - tech upgrades it's not there, so my question is as follows.

2 - Can a titan from an existing list, with the correct tech level have teleport?

1. The swarm doctrine overrides the tech level, so the Not-Nids will use -1 to the farthest unit in the formation.

2. Yes, you can have a teleporting Titan if you like

I really would give a copy of your army list to your opponent before fielding a teleporting titan. .
Let them know. . . politely what you intend to do.

And of course there is the teleportation blunder rules to consider. You are going to feel really silly and lose an awful lot of points if your teleporting Titan vanishes in a puff of logic.
