Or think of it as they do but always miss due to incompetence so no point in rolling the dice ;-)

Auto-linked Infantry with stabalisation anyone? Now there's a an idea for a stinking pile of cheese Grin

Infantry
Move 10 Foot
Assault 5
Hit 6
Save 6
Direct Fire 6 at 30cm Stabilized
100 Points.

Interesting. Someone want to try it?

One of these days I will do the stat for Heinlein Mobile Infantry {from the book not the films!}
Now that would be some evil troops to put on the field of battle! Grin
Won't be getting many of them in 2000pt battle group!
Just thought about this as I type. . .
Don't want to be on the receiving end of them.Lifeless

I think the talking grenades that tell you what they are going to do was "Rogue Trooper" in 2000AD, from memory the Heinlein ones were the nuke's that counted down. You knew you couldn't get away while they were telling you how long you had to live.

Not read the book for a while so may be wrong, won't be the first time, doubt it will be the last. Grin

Any one for a genetic trooper army ala "Rogue Trooper"? Is it a pre-massacre formation or the god like Rogue himself? How do you stat up an army of 1 with self aware equipment?

The grenades talk in the native language of the "skinnies" for a psychological trauma dose!
2000AD talking bombs were from ABC warriors "monkey on my back" bombs with the silly grins.
It all cmes down to running around screaming your head off in panic.
"On the bounce!" Huh?
