having had spells as a solo gamer (as I have moved round uk)this mag., and the solo wargamers society was useful source of ideas but I let go ages ago when getting involved with a local club.

Lone Warrior is still a hard copy mag as well - but now produced in the USA and extortionate to have posted over here - don't know why its not pdf or emailed but it ain't.Angry

They do offer back issues in PDF format for a lot less, though only paper if you subscribe.

Just to put the record straight.Cool
Lone Warrior is now (and has been for a while) available as a PDF at a much more reasonable rate. ($15 for the year - 4 copies at the moment)
Good value and worth subscribing.
