Ok, thought i would take a gamble and post a link to my humble blog. I have been throwing together some terrain tile examples this weekend and will get some more done this weekend (Hopefully).

They are designed to work with both 6mm and 10mm except the buildings and hope that they give others some inspiration like previous posts here have for me..Smile

They look excellent!

What's your plan for rivers/roads? Have them modelled on the board but all aligning at the midpoint?

I’ve been wanting to make some full terrain boards for ages to make up a table, lack of storage space and transport issues keep hampering me though Disapprove

Thanks for the comments, I will try to get the river sections done this weekend. As inspiration i will be using/stealing the idea of your Big river Dave

I am considering having the rivers at a standard width at each end of the tile which when put together results in a flow in one direction without any sharp 90 degree bends, however it will have a gentle meander throughout.

As for roads well at the moment being a complete cheapskate i use strips of carpet tile cut wide enough for once again 6 - 10mm use maybe some day i will get round to modelling roads in the same fashion.Blush

Very nice!

I bought two pack (5 plates of plywood (poplarwood) sized 150 x 210 and 4 mm thick) at my local OBI do-it-yourself-store. Price was only 1,99 €.
Made two little scenario with 6 mm buildings. But have no expierence with this material. Hope it don´t warp.
Anybody use this boardes?
