Has anyone experience of the following?

Terrain mat - looks pretty awesome, but at a price.

Mat o war

TerrainMat is excellent in terms of the look, but it is fragile and prone to losing some of the flock.

Mat-o-war is just a carpet-type material used in exhibitions and so on, so is hard wearing, but not as nice to look at.

The mat o war is very hard wearing, I used mine for over two years with no sign of wear or tear.

Also I'm selling it on ebay Wink

I know it's hard to tell in the photo but is the green the same as the current one as seen on Antonocetti's web site?

I use a huge beige double sheet for the desert. I hung it on the washing line and then sprayed on patches of other browns etc... It's pretty good I think.

Does look good must admit and something i'll look to progress. I've just bought 10 metres of beige linen (curtain Material)which I am going to have a play with for large desert table for a large early war desert game I am putting on in January.
