I found the modelling paste today in my Swindon LIDL store. £2.49 for 250ml in COARSE,FINE or LIGHT varieties. I use the coarse to build walls, sandbagging/defence works or rocky outcrops. It can be coloured easily with paint. the coarse grains can be picked out for special effects.
There were no more than 20 pots and the are with artist materials in their special ranges again.

You find odd gems in there (and Aldi) every now and then. Got my laminator in lidl cheaply and a pack of laminates too.

And the jalapenos stugged with feta are very nice!!

My other half picked up one of each for me. Just experimenting at the moment with the course for basing but it seems a bit too rough for 6mm. It does however give a good rubble like texture for the basing around some bombed out buildings I'm trying to get finished.

Lucky me! In the reduced area of my local LIDL here the modelling paste was reduced to 50p, so I bought 4 more- 2 Light Modelling Paste, one Coarse, one Fine!
Look out everyone!Grin
