Posted on 06 May 2013 at 14:23:28 GMT Primarily could be used for Cold War and Future War Commanders as the buildings are modern looking. Though in a pinch perhaps a pre-bombed German or Russian city for Blitzkrieg. http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/hawk-wargames/dro... This Set contains; - 20 Card Buildings - Pre-cut and folded - 24 Double-sided Card Terrain Tiles - each being 1ft square Order mine last Friday and eagerly awaiting its arrival sometime this week. Considering getting a second for more built up areas and denser cities. |

Posted on 14 May 2013 at 10:33:54 GMT It looks great and at 6mm I'd be very intersted. Good inspiration too for trying to work out your own cities and towns. |

Posted on 14 May 2013 at 11:37:27 GMT At £27 on discount it's getting tempting, but as I don't do 10-12mm for sci-fi... |

Posted on 14 May 2013 at 12:34:03 GMT I'm sure it would work just fine for 6mm. If these are supposed to represent large office block type structures then if anything they would have been scaled back for 10mm. At a 1/300 scale even a moderate high rise model building should be about 30cm in height. These look like they are about 10-15cm tall. |

Posted on 22 May 2013 at 08:40:28 GMT A lot of the buildings can be downloaded from the Hawk Wargames website. They are set up to print as 10mm on A4 but I'm sure someone can tell me how to rescale to 6mm!....please?.....pretty please?? |

Posted on 23 May 2013 at 21:26:39 GMT Wayland has the Dropzone set for 27 pounds and my credit card finger is itching. Just wanted to see some actual purchaser reports though, regarding assembly, the bases, etc. |

Posted on 03 September 2013 at 08:33:51 GMT Why not download the free building files? They are designed to be printed on A3, but are perfect for 6mm when printed on A4. |

Posted on 03 September 2013 at 09:54:44 GMT If I was buying it'd be direct from the supplier. I wouldn't give my money to Wayland not even if they were the last wargames retailer on the face of the planet Their customer service is worse than 'sucks' They lie like cheap NAAFI watches |

Posted on 04 September 2013 at 11:15:38 GMT I ordered my Cityscape from Wayland games on a Saturday and received it on the following Tuesday but also my experience with them buying Bretonnian Knight of the Realm in bulk has always been okay and got my stuff within a week. Anyway the cityscape itself is high quality, all the ground tiles are double sided although some more variations would have been nice but you can get a good road network going. The buildings themselves warp slightly with construction/deconstruction if you don't glue or staple the tabs together. I take my city various places so having them mobile and flat is much easier. For 6mm I would say the buildings are slightly too large. 10mm is perfect as it was designed to be in that scale anyway but overall a good look. 15mm models look too big, kind of like comparing regular 28mm with GW 28mm. The box it comes in isn't the strongest so alternate storage for the components is needed. |
