An upgrade to the 6mm scenic material of scale models miniatures from Baccus.

All bases are in the cardboard. The hedges are made with cleaning pipes brushes.

Nope, I'm with Toxicpixie on this.

Already nicked the idea of cut up brillo pads from battlefront1162, but they look large for my 6mm.

Pipecleaners....excellent idea.

Sticky-backed, sponge draft excluder used to make nice hedges - don't know if you can still get it, what with all the hermetically sealed double glazing around now. B&Q used to stock it in a variety of thicknesses.

Green pan scourer. The kind that comes in sheets about the size of a 6"x4" index card.

Rip a strip off the edge about 6-10mm deep. Ripping gives you two rough edges. Cut the next strip off with heavy duty scissors. Keep going alternatively ripping and snipping.

I use them as is but you can paint black and then apply flock if you like.

Yup, I've done the pot scrubbers thing too.

Now I'm embarrassed to note I haven't done a blog post in 6 months. I should be able to do a few before the end of the year.
