If you don't already know...JR Miniatures is closing. I've met the owners of the local Colorado company and they will be missed at our local conventions. Hopefully they will find new owners of the company.

Notice of the closing is on their web site and TMP.

That's sad, although I'm sure someone will buy the range.

I really hope someone buys 'em up. They're good products.

Nice to have a US source for good 6mm buildings.

Good News - and now they're opening again -
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Hobby Game Design, Inc. Acquires JR Miniatures

Hobby Game Design, Inc. is a new game design and manufacturing company headquartered in San Jose, California. JR Miniatures is the single largest supplier of scale miniature buildings and terrain features for the gaming industry in the United States, and will continue as our flagship brand.

Manufacturing operations of all JR Miniatures products will be transferred to our new location in San Jose, California. We hope to have limited production started by December 2012 with full production in early 2013. At this time, no changes to company policies or terms are planned.

Robert Rumfelt, founder of JR Miniatures, will remain with the company as lead product designer. This new arrangement is very exciting for all of us, and will allow JR Miniatures to release many new products and react much faster to the ever changing demands of the hobby gaming industry.

Thank you to everyone for their patience and understanding during this transition. We will keep everyone up to date with new information as it becomes available.
