Posted on 05 May 2011 at 21:05:18 GMT I bought some stuff from them at Colours last year. The stand was a bit disorganised but there are all sorts of bits in various scales. Well worth a rumage, and pretty cheap, I thought. |

Posted on 06 May 2011 at 07:49:53 GMT But they also seem to have some 10mm figure ranges (SCW, Vietnam). Annyone know how these compare to Pendraken or Minifigs? |

Posted on 06 May 2011 at 16:10:48 GMT Their 10mm figures/vehicles are those formerly available from Bren Gun which was the old Wild Geese ranges which became Pendraken, but before you get too excited they were 1/200. |

Posted on 06 May 2011 at 16:53:29 GMT Yep, they will be too small for Pendraken or bigger |

Posted on 06 May 2011 at 19:39:01 GMT OK, thanks for that. A pity as they would fill some gaps in what's available for moderns. |

Posted on 11 May 2011 at 08:20:15 GMT Ooops sorry, never saw your question about the e-mail address. This forum replaces the "AT" symbol with the word at to stop spammers from getting e-mail addresses. I never really left my stand except to grab a quick coffe, sorry. Michael. |

Posted on 13 May 2011 at 22:11:58 GMT I've used *loads* of stuff from The Square that I've picked up at various Legionaries over the years...they're nicely cast resin pieces, great value for money & scale-wise are fine, perhaps a touch on the small side but nothing too noticeable really... If you've got BKCII look at the pic on p5: the Spanish buildings from left - right: Square - Time Cast - Square - Square - Time Cast ...and on pp32-3 look at the dug-in troops: they're safe behind some Square fallen tree trunks [& Pendraken barricades] Pics of their assorted rubble & more modern buildings are here: http://nikharwood.pbworks.com/w/page/7825401/10... Nigel [IIRC that's his name...] is a nice fella too - and invariably chucks some freebies in at shows [well, at least he has for me!] Hope that helps |
