Hello good people,

For info, Last Valley has now an Ebay shop (The Last Valley Scenics). Must be pretty recent because they only have two feedbacks.
I wanted to get roads and rivers from them at Reading Warfare but ran out of cash...since then, I have been trying to get in touch but without success.
I just ordered a river! Am happy me!
I have to say that their terrain is very good indeed.
And by the way, I don't have anything to do with Last Valley. I thought that some of us might be interested to know about this new development.

Is this is the same Last Valley that got banged up for armed robbery?

Could be, I don't know. He did not seem that threatening when I saw him at Warfare though.

Hope it goes okay Jeff - try putting Last Valley into the search engine on TMP to find out why it may not.
Although he may have changed of course.

Sorry dave, I'm not trying to persecute the bloke.
I think the two issues were related - both resulting from financial difficulties. I can understand his difficulties over that (though not the remedy!) and I'd be happy to buy face to face off him (nice looking stuff). I'd just like a bit more positive track record on delivery before mail/ebay ordering myself.
Very happy to be proved wrong.

I totally agree with you, I live in Hull but with that track record I wouldn't be willing to part with money up front. I don't really use TMP that much so I'd never seen any of that stuff before.

Well, the two feed-backs on ebay were very positive. moreover, being the bloody liberal and optimistic person I am, I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and I hope that ebay will help him to get lots of business...of course he will need to be up for it and keep us customers happy. Well, time will tell.
I dropped him a line today as we had met at the last Warfare in Reading. I want to buy roads too but they are not available on ebay yet.

Jeff, me too (bloody liberal I mean - eternal pessimist thoughGrin).
I agree, I hope he does well and that his delivery lives up to his artistic talents. Let us know what happens. I didn't mean to be so miserable about it - I just remembered the original stuff from the TMP pages. I really hope he makes a go of it.

nice product line... I have a slew of his "picket fencing" in white (as advertised) and brown (as not) - as well as his hurdles... so I've asked if he still does them Smile

the only thing that concerned me was that the piccies are dated from 2004. I think Ebay could well be the best way for him to deal, as it should make him rectify the issues before, ie too big an order book and not enough product. Provided he's only selling stock he has it should be fine.

I'm not normally a liberal leftie GrinGrin, but I do feel sorry for the chap to be honest.

My rivers have been shipped, on schedule.
He will also put roads on the Ebay shop very soon.
If you need specific lenghts for road sections, that can be arranged.
Am thinking to ask if he could do some smaller scale scenery too...more 10-12mm than 28mm...I really like his fields and so on.

Rivers arrived safely. All good on this side of Wales.
Nice looking they are as well. I might just add a touch of life by using Vallejo water paste.
