If you are in the Syracuse area on Monday nights, Walt's Hobby is hosting a game night in the huge room in back of their store!

Right now, there's a Cold War Commander Iran Iraq war campaign getting ramped up and ready to roll. I am getting some WWII desert stuff in to be worked up for a store demo to get some people into it here!

We're primarily working in 6mm scale and will soon be carrying GHQ products at the shop!

Attention!!!
On January 2, 2010 the historical gaming group at Walt’s hobby shop will be hosting a World War II Eastern Front game. We will be using my huge collection of 15mm Battlefront miniatures and terrain. We plan on staging this game on a 6’x9’ table! We will be using the blitzkrieg commander rule set. These rules are similar to Flames of War, but they are designed for fast play. On Sunday, March 21, I will be hosting another World War 2, Eastern Front, Blitzkrieg Commander Game at Walt’s hobby shop is Syracuse. The game will start at 8:00am Sunday and will probably last to the close of the store at 4:00. Fall is almost here and I’m feeling motivated to do some war gamming. The usual group will be meeting tomorrow at Walt’s between 4:30 and 7:00. In the next few weeks I will be organizing some Monday night games. Feel free to come down and show your support. Stay tuned for more details.

I have a couple of new announcements.

1. Today I'm launching a new web page/blog that will cover the all activities of our gaming group that meets at Walt's. We will now be known as the Salt City Wargamers. I will be making weekly updates to this page. The address is: http://saltcitywargamers.wordpress.com/

2. In my push for more gaming I will be running a game of Blitzkrieg Commander next Monday (09/27/10). The game will be an all armor meeting engagement. More details can be found on the new site.

I have a couple of updates on what the Salt City Wargamers are up to.

2. We will be running several demo games of Blitzkrieg Commander this weekend at Walt’s annual Secret Santa sale. That is November 20th and the sale runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
