For the foreseeable future I will be up in the Newcastle/Morpeth part of the UK on a regular basis during weekends. I will be twiddling my thumbs doing nothing so was wondering if there are any gaming clubs in this area or gamers who would like to meet up for a game or two?

Hi Adrian,

The two I'm familiar with are:

http://sites.google.com/site/contemptables/ in North Shields. Meet on a Sunday. Good collection of CWC and FWC players.

There's also my main club http://www.tynesidewargames.co.uk/ who meet on a Saturday. Couple of CWC players and a few Spearhead.

I'm up there but never get much time to play but am happy to get you some contacts. The next couple of months are a bit busy for me but I'm hoping to free up a Sunday for a CWC game before Christmas!

I have seen the Tynsidewaragmes site and may well pay them a visit. The contemptables look a good group but unfortunately I travel back home Sunday afternoons.

LoL Grin Can't fit the damn thing in the C1!

Will do Andy, up 29th October so will try and come over then, however, will not be over until 3pm so may not have time for a game.

Ian and the guys are looking out for you if you do pop in. I may be hitting town PM so may get a chance to pop in , likely with kid/s in tow...

Alternatively, I may try and go back to bed as had first night out in ages last night so am suffering this morning...

Sorry, was too tired myself Saturday combination of late night, early start & long drive. Will be up 26/27th November next and will see if I can get up earlier.

I'm pretty sure it is SMOGGYCON that Saturday so there is a chance the Club will be closed as everyone will be in Middlesbrough for the show.
