My newsagent tells me that a new magazine comes out in UK on Saturday 28th of December that includes a diecast 1/72 tank. The magazine (name unknown) is an English version of a Polish publication from a company called Amercom.
The Polish version had the following tanks with its first 3 issues :- M48 Patton, Tiger II, Sherman 105.

Ooooh, Sherman 105mm you say...

I have no need for any of those, but, if one falls into the shopping basket I might just have to...

S&S produce a 75mm Sherman mantlet designed to convert the Altaya kit but may be of use here.

If it was at front of magazine prices and ready to go, I might be tempted. Otherwise...

Mark, you could be right. Been looking at back issues on the Amercom site and as far as I can remember of the deAgostini mag, they look like the same models. Not sure if they are the same paint jobs, but they could be.

In similar news there's a "Great Airplanes" mag in the newsagents alongside the vehicle one - first issue £2, with a 1/144th Lancaster.

Good one for those using BKC for Goodwood, maybe?!

Comes from the same stable.
May pick up some of the aircraft ones as I use 1/144 with 15mm ground forces.

Damn, I have a Lancaster already for this very purpose. Will keep an eye out for future issues though.

Well, if you subscribe to the "Bomber Harris landscape garden and urban renewal" approach then you can never have enough Lancasters Wink

Might make an interesting objective marker as a crashed Lancaster Grin

Today I put an ink wash on a Warrior MCV from the magazine and it turned out quite nicely. A quick drybrush will probably bring out the details even better.

Very similar in proportions to the Warrior I bought from Britannia Miniatures. The gun barrel is a bit flimsy, but overall it is good for £2.99

I see some of these Warriors are for sale on eBay from a seller in Poland, but at a much higher price.
