Myself, Adie and Karsten played quite a substatial (4000pt encounter) game tonight - probably a few too many toys for a 6ft x 4ft table.

I took the opportunity to take a few snaps:

Iran
CO: AH1 Hueycobra
FAO: 2 105mm

HQ: Scouts, 6 Regular Infantry, 3 RPG-7, Sagger, HMG
HQ: Scouts, 6 Regular Infantry, 3 RPG-7, SA-7, HMG
HQ: 3 Chieftain
HQ, 3 M60A1 Patton
HQ, 3 M60A1 Patton
HQ, 3 M47 Patton
HQ, 3 M47 Patton

We only managed seven turns, but the Iraqis held the Major objective (large town in the center) with their two large mech infantry formations. But the Iranians superior armour had dominated the flanks.

The major Iranian problem was that they only had one mech infantry unit and that got badly shot up early on in the game when the Iraqi T62's "double oned". So the Iraqi mech infantry was able to secure the town while the Iranain foot sloggers failed activation after activation and by the end of the game were still a couple of activations from the edge of the town.
