First outing for my 15mm 1960s French and Russians. I finally opted to keep the unmodified CWC distances, and I must say, this worked fine.
I have converted another club player to the BKC CWC system, I think, and drawn the attention of another. Grin

I got really tempted by the Pentomic era, put together a US & a Sov force, and have used them twice in solo games in three years :/

So yeah, definitely nice to see some early stuff on the table!

Nice report. As you say, the command system is so unpredictable at times it gives exactly the right feel to the "fog of war". Thanks.

Nice reports!

Have you tried the free Battle Chronicler software for drawing maps and battle reports ?

I really like it - much better than conjuring it up from scratch!

Foxbat,

we used your scenario for a demo game at Call to Arms today (it is a small show near Reading GB). We used British instead of French, and pushed it to 1968. We had great fun and the scenario seemed to generate a lot of interest too, so thanks for posting the report (which enabled us to plagiarise it!).

Thanks for the kind words. Now you know we'll all be wanting to know how it went, and ask for a report... Wink
