I think the WRG CWC battlegroups are a very good thing for us beginners, a big thanks for them! Placing a scenario in southern Finland, I seem to have a choice of three possible opponents:
1) motor rifle regiment coming from the Karelian isthmus
2) naval infantry regiment from SSR of Estonia and/or
3) airborne regiment landing on HEL airport.
What can I say? Lucky me! Huh?

The Motor Rifle Regiment would make an interesting change from the usual in that I guess they'd be in MTLBs rather than BMP-1s or -2s.

I'm very slowly building up a late 80s Finnish force to match my Soviets. It's a good way of using up an excess of T-72s.

Whooo...I've got spare T-72s. Might look at Finns! Smile

They sure did. I'm struggling, though, to come up with a light green, dark green, black combination that doesn't disappear from view on a weathered 1/300th scale tank model.

I usually use Panzer Grey instead of black on such small scale models but I'm going to experiment with proper black to try and make the splinter scheme stand out.

I agree with Mark here! Surely the whole point is being able to see the pretty cammo scheme?

Cheers, Mark, I'll give it a go.
