Having looked through the forum, using the search machine thingy, I can not find the cost for FASCAM. Even looked in the 2006 Errata, and the rulebook, but no luck. Any idea?

How many FASCAM assets are allowed per unit? I would imagine between one to two. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We are playing 1989 so any info really useful. I imagined they would be rare so your feedback useful as always MarkSmile.

In "Sands of War", a boardgame set at the same level as BKC/CWC, the US artillery during the first gulf war is allowed two slavos of FASCAM per battery. There are number of scenarios covering different battles from WW2 through the first gulf war in the game.

We used a mix of FASCAM, marked and unmarked minefields in a test game; Central Front 1984ish, 1 minefield type per 1000pts ( 6k battle ) so, 2 of each.

Minefields are bad enough; being able to drop FASCAM on the survivors as they exit felt a bit like clubbing baby seals.

It DID stop them though.

Its a pity that FASCAM is not a standard part of Future War Commander as it would come in very useful taking on hordes of spiny/scaley/bitey aliens.

No reason why you can't make it a house rule.

Well, it worked very well in our display game at he weekend, the hordes of T-80's basically stopped on turn 3 and didn't move forward at all, there again is was 5 minefields in a long row.
