Two questions - I know the answers, just want the font of all wisdom to rule, so as there wont be no more arguments.

1) A unit with ridged doctrine has a junior commander fail, can his CO then order the unit - with relevant penalties, and other command elements at the same level not do so.

2) In a similar situation a flexible doctrine army has a failure and wants to use a higher level HQ to issue orders to two groups - does the command element revert to it's original command value when issuing it's orders to the second group ?

1/ Yes - all units in the BG are under the CO.

2/ Yes - soon as you stop ordering one group and move on, your CV reverts back (whoever you are).

As long as the fail is with the first try...well that's as I read it.

Lonnie, yes - if they've successfully received an order then the CO can't give them another!

Makes the "make one order, then fail" very annoying
