If an artillery unit fires counter battery fire (ordered to), does that count as its only action for its turn? Can it be ordered to fire other munitions as well? (I am assuming yes).

A battery of 3 units counter battery fires against a unit of 4 guns. Does each of the four guns get 3 attacks against it?

If he orders only one unit to counter battery fire, the other two can fire regular missions? And the attacked unit would receive only one attack per gun on it?

As I understand it, each off table arty unit attacks one off table arty unit.

So if you have three units each at three dice, and your opponent has three units of arty, then you can (subject to successful CB order roll) either - assign one arty to attack each enemy arty (good chance of suppressing most), or all three to hit one (good chance of killing it!), or two on one, one on the other etc.

I wouldn't let you split an order to do CB *and* normal fire - that's two separate orders, I believe. And each off table arty unit can only fire once per turn.
