Obviously I played again last night


On the firing to hit chart it states that fully armored AFV are hit on 6+ for off table artillery. No where in the rules can find the "definition" of an AFV.

Commonsense tells me/us that IFVs are AFVs. BMP-1s and M113s etc are AFV and therefore hits from artillery are on 6+. Correct?

Yes that's right, any tin or steel box on wheels or tracks

Anything with a save is hit on a 6, unless it's open topped (marked as O on the data chart), in which case it's a 5+ for off table arty.
