How could you field a Recce Squadron or Company with in the rules?

Ie
HQ: 2 Spartan (GSR) with 2 Infantry sections
3 troops of 3 Scorpion and 1 Striker

Hi,
Why not allow a reduction in the artillery deviation because of the technology being used? -1D6?
And 3 Recon vehicles is the allowance for a 3000 point game... unless you agree otherwise with your opponent.

You could field the Scorps as fighting stands, costing 20pts less than the recce model and just throw them out front as a screen...

If you want crunch for the GSR maybe cost & use as a command post, but allow it to move in the end phase and give the bonus to a commander in contact with it. Call it a command unit for being targeted, I think, so all it worries about is getting clipped by air & arty.

Mind, three hits and a six save means you really do have to worry about getting clipped
