They aren't any any of the briefings but would probably have been used for close air support. Any Ideas for stats and points or should I just use the A-10 and F-4 and change around the models?

Tornado & F-111 are unlikely to be seen on the front line - they *should* be savaging rear areas or dropping tac nukes in awkward places. That said just use whatever stats look good to you.

I did stats for some of these for this year's Crisis Point game. Each aircraft model got a gard with the stats on and in some cases some situation-specific rules. I'll see if I can find them this evening.

Should have said "card with the stats on" of course.

Counterpane - how did you assign air assets for the Crisis Point game? I gather they weren't paid for within battlegroups...

Apologies - my memory is faulty, I don't seem to have cards for any of those.

We created cards for each ground attack model brought by the players. A typical card just listed the stats of an aircraft straight out of the rules. Some had special munitions (e.g. cluster bombs) listed. A few aircraft had special cards, for example:

USAF F-4G 'Wild Weasel II'
Attacks: 12*
Hits: 3
Save: 4
Shrike/HARM anti-radar missiles - 12 attacks, target counts as in the open, no deviation, no saves, may only be used vs AA units.

Each side got 2d6 air strikes (i.e. drew 2d6 cards) per hour of real time. We used a kitchen timer.

Air superiority was handled using allocation of fighter models to areas. I can give details if people are interested.

That sounds simple and reasonable - assuming no one turned up with loaded dice and an entire ground attack wing Grin

Beware - Shrike / HARM will only function against a radar guided missile launcher / controller. Hence SA7 grail types being EO guided would be immune - just a thought.

I know they should be lurking off table, but the models look soo cool in 6mm that I couldn't resist buying them.
