Is there any way that the stats for an M1A2 SEP would be different to that of a vanilla M1A1

thanks

Doubt it, it's a computer systems upgrade, and probably not enough to change a stat, unless the FCS is a lot better than the original.

I had been under the impression that the SEP package might have included an armour upgrade. Sites like this one seem to suggest something was done:

In the downloads section for the balkans under UN army lists (US bde) the M1A2 Abrams is given as having a 2+ save at a cost of 260, other stats are the same as normal. Sounds fun for the US player, less so for everyone else

Kill it with wizz bangs - 2-3 arty attacks or chopers/air craft per move, clusters would be nice.

That's 72 attack dice to kill it in the open : 6 hits x 6 (saves on 2+) x 2 (hit on 4, 5, 6).

Or, my opponent's (who plays Soviet / Russian against my USMC) one true joy, - a chemical or thermobaric strike (leaving everyone in the zone automatically suppressed) followed by a thermobaric strike (everyone in the zone who's suppressed dies).

Takes a bit of luck to get the stars to align for him and see it happen but when it does it's deadly.

Moral: don't bunch and if there's a known enemy fire registration point stay away from it.

Haha, yeah, oddly enough that's my general cunning plan with the Sovs...
