So, Spetsnaz have the recce rules, but what exactly does that entail?

Is it that they operate as a normal unit in all respects, but can choose to use their initiative phase to do one of the "communicating" options instead of firing, moving or assaulting?

If they communicate are they bound by the rules for recce that say in the turn they communicate they can't be given other orders?

If they benefit from recce rules, does that mean they also benefit from improved cover?

Can they also deploy ahead of a battlegroup like a recce unit?

AFAIK Spetsnaz use the rules for both Recce and regular infantry.

Yeah, it is hard to ignore any force increase done by the Soviets. You always do so at your own peril.
