I'm just a little confused here about issuing commands. From reading the rules, while attempting to do a solo playtest, I can order a unit to do either action. But 'Unit' refers to 1 stand and yet in the example on pg 14, it states as rolling for a command to a formation of 4 Bradley's, not a single Bradley.
1- I was under the impression that orders were given to stands, not a formation? Confused

2- The CO or HQ can give as many orders as possible until it fails its roll or rolls for Command Blunder...correct?

1. Orders are issued to one or more units at a time, but each unit carries out one action Wink

2. Correct

Okay. So then in the example on pg 14, the order was given to each unit within that formation, so only 1 command roll was needed.

If I can steal this thread, regarding HQ's and issuing commands; is an HQ able to issue commands to *more than one 'formation'* (assuming he finishes one before moving to the next) as long as it doesn't fail a command roll or does this only apply to the CO?

In a word, YES. That's the beauty of the command role system.
