I'm sorting out a Navwar/H&R order, and looking for things to finish off my first two armies (Iraq and Iran).

The question I have is what infantry to get.

Should I go with American/Nato for Iran and Warsaw Pact for Iraq, or would warsaw pact suit both? I've seen a number of pictures that have Iranian troops in American WWII style helmets.

I'm also thinking of getting a pack or two of mudjahadeen for Iranian militia. Are these models ok for the role?

Britsh with SLR or NATO/US old style helmet are fine, WARPACT is fine for Iraqi. If the mudjaheen are the Insurgent pack then they wear peaked caps with MG3, various SMG and G3 rifles.

Magister Militum stock the old Hallmark 6mm infantry range. They do Iranian infantry & support weapons. You can buy a 'company' pack which (I think) will do multiple battalions for CWCor individual elements of troops as required.

Yes the MM stuff will do a full battalion at 1 base per section, so certainly multi-battalion for CWC. Nice, got quite a few, but some dont like em.

West German for Iranian regulars they have the same helmet (M1) and weapons (G3 and MG3)

I'm using GHQ Vietnam Era US Infantry for my Iranian regulars.

Well I've ordered a ton of H&R stuff now (got some more Iraqi tanks while I was at it). Just hoping it turns up before the bank holiday weekend.
