I'm about to place an order for some modern British miniatures and had a question. Looking at GHQ they have *almost* everything I need. While searching for the rest I found that H&R has *everything* I need in terms of miniatures.

Unfortunately, H&R does not include any photos of the miniatures I want, which always makes me nervous. Can anyone with experience with both makers comment on the relative quality of the sculpts? Would I be better off ordering what I can from GHQ and just order the couple of items they don't carry from H&R? Or should I just order everything from H&R?

Also, for their infantry, H&R lists their infantry figures like:

British Infantry Carl Gustav (5)

Does that this item has five Carl Gustav teams, or one team with five figures, or just five figures with the Carl Gustav? I just want to be sure I'm ordering enough the first time.

I think it would be 5 CG teams, so a gunner, spotter and possibly a loader. I'd generally opt for H&r in most cases, the quality is good and the new stuff is really good. GHQ is top notch for quality, but you pay for it, whereas you can't beat h&r for price, ever! Happy gaming.

I was hoping to be able to give you a definitive answer as I received an order from H&R just before Xmas that included the new BAOR infantry.

However...it appears mine don't contain any Charlie G teams...

If it is of any assistance I do have strips of the 66s and Blowpipes, each of those is a strip of 5 figures armed with the same named weapon. So, based on that, I'd expect that you'd get 5 men each carrying a Charlie G.

I have to say that the sculpt quality is extremely good on these new figures.
