Posted on 07 August 2015 at 13:16:28 GMT Thanks all. Yes, a company of them turned up on a Thursday, so things must have been serious. After one scheduled air attack, they did sit out the rest of the game garrisoning the outskirts of Hannover, unmolested by even one little tank.
Lots of action at the airport though. Will post some pics at the weekend.

I Served as with a small detachment of 219(Wessex) General Hospital RAMC(V), who shared one of TA centres (Bristol)with 1,2 and 3 Platoons and the Anti-tank Platoon of the Wessex Regt, who would only turn up if there was a bar and disco. But that was a long time ago.
PS the Bar and Disco required 1 four tonner and a Landrovcr for the records |
