Posted on 21 January 2015 at 02:24:30 GMT After lots of trials and many errors, I finally finished my scratch built M60 AVLB. I used a Minifigs hull, plastic stock, putty and bass wood. Maybe I should say scrap built, because of all the material I wasted making mistakes. I initially tried building the actual frames of the bridge until I realized no one would see it anyway. The ramps are made from bass wood with model railroad plastic stock siding for the tread ways. with angle iron connecting them. There are rare earth magnets on the bottoms and large ends of the tread ways, so they stay connected.
