Hi, I just want to share some pictures of my current project -a soviet TD from 1985 (let's call it the 2nd Guards Tank Army, 16th Tank Division).

The miniatures are Oddzial Osmy (O8) ones!

So, let's count them:

-1x RHQ
-1x FAO
-1x FAC
-1x SA-8 (div. support)
-1x BRM-1, 1x BRDM-2
-1x Shilka, 1x SA-13

-3x Tank Battalions (1x T-64ERA, 2x T-64improved -3 platoons with ATGM in each battlion -the ones behind cover/pile of "earth"Wink )
-1x Mechanized Infantry Battalion (11x BMP-1, 9 Conscripts, some of them with RPG-7, HMG, SA-7, 3x 120mm Mortar)
-1x Artillery Battalion (6x 2S1)

So the soviet 47th Tank Regiment is: 7400p, BP: 55.
(not counting the FROG-7, Hinds, etc) from not much than 15 good old british pounds Smile

Yes, there will be dismounts -now I have only 1 stand -just for a test! I always loved painting tanks, infantry is more "complex" Smile

(it's too much for the camera) -Painted in Citadel Gretchin Green -based on 40x10mm Epic Armageddon stands (actially I think infantry platoony are wider than tank platoons)

Good stuff. You do need to add the FAO's though.

Looks good! There's enough contrast between the darker infantry and the lighter flock to make them noticeable, which is good Smile

I hope so Grin

Actually these units were deployed at the northern part of the DDR (mostly close to the units of the 2nd guard tank army).

The SU-25's were only deployed in the GSFG after 1988/89, but it's only a minor difference.

Beautiful stuff! And nice job basing them against the color scheme! Even small, they pop out!
