Posted on 11 May 2014 at 13:30:32 GMT I just received an e-mail from Phil at Pithead: "although these are not yet on my website I thought you would like to know that I have some Winter Korean war US and British Commonwealth Infantry with support weapons plus some Chinese support weapons ready for sale." So for all of us who have been waiting and asking, the wait is over. Phil was hesitant about completing the line. He didn't think there was enough of a market to justify the cost, but enough of us pestered him to take the chance. Let's show our appreciation. The Chinese used few armored vehicles, mostly SU-76s. They had only a handful of T-34/85s. Their artillery and AT are easy: almost anything up to 105 mm US, British, Russian, or Japanese. Anything provided to or captured by either side in the Chinese Civil War or WW2. And for a great late war "What If," on my first tour in the ROK, I found areal recon photos of SU-152s behind the front line in 1952. Joe |
