I'm trying to put gether a late fities early sixties British battle group and wondered when the Quad went out of service.
I have alot of Quads,limbers and 25lb gun howitzers and wish to use them if possible

In service until 1959, when the last was sold off - Wiki list it as the Morris C8.

It was initially replaced by a modified RL, with the limber mounted on the front of the flat bed, and later still by 2 LWB lannies, one for gun and one for limber, as having two trailers was banned under the RTA of the period.

I love that "Pentomic Era" period, got me a nice "War of the Worlds" US and Soviet battlegroup for it. I'm tempted by Brits, might have to see what's in the loft going spare...
