More on the Korean theme. Do people have any recommendations for N. Korean or Chinese figures?

Thanks,

If you can not find any thing better these might make acceptable stand in's:

They have some "asian" type hats!

I'm sure Adler do Russians in winter dress with fur hats.

There are some pictures of the Adler Russians in Winter Dress on their website in the Gallery section.

How about H&R Afrika Korps. They are quite slender figures in forage caps so could be painted up in a suitable scheme. Not really padded enough for winter dress though!

Cheers

Thanks for all the replies. It's interesting that the Korean War is not gamed more. It may be a misconception based on the old MASH TV programme about what the war was really like. I must confess I thought it was attritional until I started reading the histories, but the first part of the war was all about movement. I am sure I can make up some really good scenarios. What is more, apart from the RRs and the actual troops, my WWII models can, for the most part, double up as UN or Communist forces.

Anyway I will have to see what I can cobble together for the Chinese.

How do the H&R Rebel Forces pack M21 fit in? They all have caps too so none of the cold weather gear requested either but could be less German looking!

The H&R DAK are not in shorts IIRC.
It's been about 25 years since I sold off my micro armour but seem to remember mixing a fair few of the DAK figures with the other packs for NWE games.

Have checked figures from my unpainted M21 pack. The guns can look like any and are short and lacks AK-47 detail. Only 5 RPGs in pack of 50.
You can paint bare legs on DAK figures as required.
The ghq pictured figures look good for the quilted uniforms. GHQ guns can be snipped short as they are quite bendy.
