Just been browsing the Pithead site and seen there is now a range for the Korean War. It is not on the main website yet, but is shown on the downloadable Order Template. (Linked from the How To Order page).

Most of what is listed is the various WW2 kit used, but NK1 Chinese Winter Inf are now listed as well.
In the pipeline are Chinese MGs, Chinese mortars, NKA in summer dress, British Inf in parkas, US Inf in parkas and US Inf in summer dress.
Vehicles to come include Pershing, Chafee and Centurion tanks.

Good choice anyway I think, as I find the detail in Pithead infantry a bit lacking. Then again, maybe this new set is better...

Agreed, their vehicles are great but the infantry don't come close to Pendraken in terms of quality. They do however tend to have more poses than Pendraken.

I mix and match - once painted up and viewed from a distance (200+ miles Grin), they look good Approve

I've always been a bit frustrated that Pendraken have better quality sculpting and detail, but Pithead offer a greater variety and often more interesting poses. So I've also ended up with a mixture.

Oo, he's got some really nice new armoured cars, perfectly quirky for AVBCW (Morris Light Armoured and the Humber MkIII LRC...).

Do I need more lead?!

Excellent - the Korean War is on my list of wars to do

I have thought about bath-tubing it so that the entire peninsula from the Yalu south is set out on a 6x4 table

This is still at the "I need to have a few more pints" stage

Lonnie, please do. I've already got a load of Korea stuff in 15mm, but the NKA figures aren't up to much. Keep thinking of swapping to 10mm once some started bringing out suitable infantry.

toxicpixie, of course you do.
