Evening all

I am currently planning a small contingent of British forces of the Berlin Brigade in 6mm for around 1970. Nothing too fancy, perhaps a couple of infantry platoons (in 1:1 scale), 3 Chieftains and a few support vehicles. I was wondering if anyone had any information on what vehicles and equipment would have been in use at that time. Would the infantry have had FV432s or a motley collection of Bedfords & Land Rovers? Would they have had Saladin armoured cars? And would all the vehicles be in crazy Berlin Brigade camouflage or just the tanks?

Also, does anyone know of a manufacturer that does decals for modern German aircraft in 6mm? I've got the GHQ vehicle crosses, but they don't look right for aircraft. I've looked at some WW1 sets but nothing seems usable.

Morning Andy

The Berlin Bde in around the 1970's didn't have the splinter cam just the green black camo. The urban cam was not introduced till late 83

Wot no urban cammo?! Surely that's the only reason to build a Berlin Brigade force?! Ah well, green & black will be easier to paint in 6mm at least.

Mark, those decals are spot on and exactly what I was looking for.

Cheers for the info guys.

The Gucci Cam didn't go way after the British stoped using it now the German Army is using a very similar one on their Leopard 2A5P
