Hello,

I am looking to create some 6mm CO and HQ stands, and want to make them interesting, sort of mini-dioramas. I have the vehicles and some of the figures for it, but I need accessories. Does anyone have suggestions for manufacturers or ranges of items that could be applicable? For example, I remember someone once mentioned there was a WWI range of figures that included a 6mm map table, but I can't recall the name of the manufacturer.

As for nationality, I've got a range I want to do. Currently Soviet/modern Russian, American, West German, British, and Canadian. Though I'm not too worried about the nationalities right now, as long as it makes for a good HQ/CO stand.

Irregular's GWB23 is what I use for most units, there are 3 guys around a map table all wearing officer's flat hats.

The equivalent WW1 Germans might be in picklehaube and therefore minus the helmet point it might be good for Fritz helmeted troops - but I'm not sure of this.

My 1940 French army has a Battalion HQ that consists of a Scotia French officer (in nonchalant pose with one arm behind his back) and the two figures at a table from the Irregular Miniatures Franco-Prussian War French command element.

The mounted figure from the same Irregular element serves, slightly converted, in the HQ of my Cossack battalion.

That all sounds perfect, thanks.

What's the best way to buy Irregular Miniatures items? Directly through the website or via a distributor?

Irregular's mail order in the UK is legendarily quick albeit they don't have as secure online ordering system so it's best to email your order and then ring Ian with your credit card details.

I note that you're in the US. I think they ahve a US distributor. A Google search should reveal who it is.

Yes I googled it and found a wide variety of people claiming to distribute Irregular miniatures in the US, most of which seemed a bit dodgy. That's why I wanted to throw the question out to you folks.
